Chelsea have agreed in principle to a £29m deal with PSV Eindhoven to sign winger Noni Madueke. There are final details about closing the deal, but the players are going to England. Madouque started his youth career at Crystal Palace before joining Tottenham Hotspur.
After leaving Tottenham for PSV Eindhoven in 2018, he established himself as a first-team player in 2020/21, scoring nine goals in 35 appearances last season. PSV have already sold Cody's legos to Liverpool on the transfer market, so there's a sense they don't want to sell him, but Chelsea are understandably adamant.
The deal will give Chelsea £190m to spend in the transfer window after spending £270m in the summer and £460m since Todd Boyley took over.
Madueke will become Chelsea's 6th signing of the January transfer window, following the arrivals of Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana and Andrey Santos.
